The container body is molded plant fiber, leaving plastic only in the thin food-contact film and the PET lid — bringing total plastic content to 10.75%, versus 100% for a conventional PP container (and 25.37% for a folded paper box with an inner plastic tray). Is the container compostable or biodegradable?

Always validate with your actual heating programme (temperature, duration, food fat content) rather than applying the tray's rating to the whole assembly.
Will it leak or soften with oily, saucy food?
No — it is engineered leak-proof and oil-resistant. The TPX-PP food-contact layer and the container structure hold high-oil, high-sauce ready meals without softening, leaking, or losing structural integrity, and the surface is non-stick so rice and residues release cleanly.
