This is a finished foodservice container rather than a raw film grade: roughly 90% molded fiber to 10% TPX-PP laminated film, topped with a clear PET lid, bringing total plastic content down to 10.75% of a comparable all-plastic tray. Despite the plant-fiber base it handles fatty, high-heat foods up to 160°C and is fully dual-ovenable, and its leak-proof, multi-compartment design with a non-stick surface is FDA-compliant and SGS-certified for food contact.

TPX-MFC is a finished container — how does it differ from the TPX-PP films?
One is material, the other is product. F4403 , F4407 and F4408 are lamination films sold to container converters; TPX-MFC is a formed fiber tray with a clear PET lid that brands and foodservice operators can adopt directly, with no molded fiber line of their own.
Plastic content of 10.75% — against what baseline?
Against 100% for a conventional PP container. TPX-MFC's body is molded plant fiber, leaving plastic only in the food-contact film layer and the PET lid, which brings total plastic content to 10.75%. Where your ESG reporting measures plastic by weight, that is a directly citable comparison.
Can TPX-MFC go in the oven — including the lid?
The tray is heat resistant to 160°C and both microwave- and oven-safe; the clear PET lid is a different material and is not designed to go into the oven with it. Remove the lid or follow the pack marking before heating, and validate with your actual heating programme rather than applying the tray's rating to the whole assembly.
