F2624-M takes both E.O. and gamma — how does it compare with the E.O.-only F4538?

It depends on whether your sterilization route might change. F4538 (MPP/PE, 80 μm) is E.O. only; F2624-M matches it at 80 μm and the same 10–15 mm shallow draw while accepting E.O. and gamma. If your line may switch methods, or different markets use different processes, F2624-M keeps that option open.

Does gamma irradiation yellow or embrittle nylon?

Managing that is exactly what a medical-grade nylon formulation is for. F2624-M is specified as gamma (r-ray) compatible, meaning the formulation holds mechanical properties and acceptable appearance at standard doses. Dose, dose rate and storage conditions all affect outcomes, so qualify post-sterilization performance and ageing at your actual dose before adoption.

What is F2624-M's forming limit, and what if I exceed it?

15 mm. Beyond that, step up: F2615-M (120 μm) covers 10–30 mm, F2606-M (150 μm) covers 30–50 mm, and F2703 (110 μm) also spans 10–30 mm. All four are dual E.O./gamma compatible, so changing depth doesn't change your sterilization validation logic.
