Privacy Policy
How Intlpak Enterprises Corporation collects, uses and protects personal information through this website.
1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Intlpak Enterprises Corporation, a packaging film manufacturer registered in Taiwan. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect the information you enter:
| Field | Required? |
|---|---|
| Company name | Required |
| Email address | Required |
| Telephone number | Optional |
| Your role or job title | Optional |
| Product lines you are interested in | Optional |
| The content of your message | Optional |
| The page you were on when you opened the form | Recorded automatically |
The required fields are what we need in order to identify who is asking and to reply. If you do not provide them, we will not be able to respond or prepare a quotation. Our form provider also records the date and time of submission.
Business contact information is still personal data where it relates to an identifiable individual. A work email address, a name, a job title or a direct telephone line receives the same protection under this policy as any other personal information — we do not apply a lower standard because the context is commercial.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect limited technical information when you visit:
- IP address, browser type and operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent, and the site or search engine you arrived from
- Approximate location, derived from IP address at country or city level
Some of this data — IP addresses and request metadata in particular — is initially processed at the level of the individual request, for security and for delivering the site. The analytics reports available to us are generally presented in aggregated form. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this information.
3. How We Use Your Information
| Purpose | Legal basis (EEA / UK) |
|---|---|
| Responding to inquiries from employees or representatives of business customers — providing quotations, samples and technical data | Our legitimate interests in responding to business communications you asked us for, and in developing prospective customer relationships |
| Responding to an individual or sole trader who is personally entering into a contract with us | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract |
| Maintaining records and following up on an existing business relationship | Our legitimate interests, subject to your right to object |
| Understanding how the website is used, so we can improve it | Your consent |
| Keeping the website secure and available | Our legitimate interest in protecting our systems |
Most inquiries we receive come from people acting on behalf of a company. Where the eventual contract would be between us and that company rather than with the individual personally, we rely on legitimate interests rather than the contract basis, and you keep the right to object to that processing.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing emails you did not ask for.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. The table below reflects an actual scan of this website rather than an expectation of what it should set.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
intlpak_lang | Intlpak (first party) | Remembers whether you chose the English or Chinese version, so you are not redirected away from your choice next time. Written only when you actively switch language. | 1 year | Strictly necessary |
intlpak_consent | Intlpak (first party) | Records the choice you made, the date you made it, and the version of this policy in force at the time — so we do not ask again on every page, and so both of us have a record of what you agreed to. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another and measures how the site is used, in aggregate. | Up to 2 years | Analytics — consent required |
Nothing is stored on your device before you choose — and nothing is sent to Google either. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all until you accept. If you decline, or simply leave the banner alone, Google receives no request from this page. This site does not use local storage, session storage, fingerprinting or any similar technology.
5. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of external services to run this website. The first three are contacted every time a page loads, before you make any cookie choice, because the site cannot be delivered without them.
| Service | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Cloudflare, Inc. | Content delivery, hosting and protection against attacks | IP address and request metadata |
| Google Fonts Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Serves the typefaces used across the site | IP address and browser information, as part of the font request |
| YouTube thumbnails Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Displays the preview images for our videos. Videos themselves open on YouTube in a new tab; nothing is embedded here. | IP address and browser information, as part of the image request |
| Google Analytics Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Website usage measurement. For visitors in the EEA and the UK, this tag is loaded only after you accept — before that, it is absent from the page entirely. | Cookie or client identifier, page and event information, device and browser information, approximate location. Google states that for visitors in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK, IP addresses are used for coarse geolocation and then discarded before being logged. |
| Google Workspace Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Receives and stores contact form submissions, in a form and a linked response spreadsheet held in our company Google Workspace account, and notifies our sales team. Contacted only at the moment you submit the form. | Everything you enter into the inquiry form, plus the submission time and the page you submitted from |
Our service providers process personal data under the contractual and data protection terms applicable to each service. Depending on the service and the activity, a provider may act as our processor, or may have limited responsibilities as an independent controller. We review the applicable terms and data processing arrangements for the services we use.
6. International Data Transfers
Intlpak is established in Taiwan. Taiwan is not currently covered by an adequacy decision under the EU GDPR, nor by UK adequacy regulations. Your personal data will therefore be accessed and processed by our staff in Taiwan, and may also be processed in the other countries where the service providers listed above operate.
Where required, international transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for transfers governed by UK data protection law, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or another approved UK transfer mechanism. We also carry out applicable transfer assessments and implement supplementary safeguards where necessary.
You may contact us at Intlpak@intlpak.com.tw to ask which safeguards apply to your personal data and to request a copy of the relevant documentation.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Inquiries that do not lead to a business relationship | Three years from the last substantive contact, so that we can recognise a returning enquirer and answer consistently |
| Records relating to customers | For the duration of the business relationship, plus the periods required for contractual, tax, accounting and legal-claim purposes |
| Google Analytics — event data | 2 months |
| Google Analytics — user-level data | 14 months, reset on new activity |
| Your cookie choice | 6 months, after which we ask again |
| Cookies | As shown in the table in section 4, or until you clear them |
| Security and delivery logs | Held by Cloudflare on our plan for up to 24 hours (security events) and up to 7 days (request analytics) |
8. Your Rights
8.1 Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act
If you are in Taiwan, you may inquire about and review your personal information; request a copy; request that it be supplemented or corrected; request that we stop collecting, processing or using it; and request its deletion.
8.2 Under the GDPR and UK GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the right to access your personal data, have inaccurate data corrected, have your data erased, restrict how we process it, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
These rights apply where the conditions set out in the applicable law are met; they are not absolute. The right to data portability, for example, applies only to data processed by automated means on the basis of consent or contract.
Automated decision-making. We do not use personal data collected through this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for you. We do not profile visitors.
8.3 How to exercise your rights
Write to us at Intlpak@intlpak.com.tw. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
We respond within the time required by the applicable law. Under the EU GDPR and UK GDPR this is normally within one month, which may be extended by a further two months where a request is complex or where we receive a number of requests — we will tell you within the first month if that applies. Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, different statutory periods apply depending on the type of request.
8.4 Data protection complaints
You may complain directly to us about how we have collected, used, retained or protected your personal data, by writing to Intlpak@intlpak.com.tw.
Where UK data protection law applies, we will acknowledge receipt of a data protection complaint within 30 days, make appropriate enquiries, keep you informed of progress where necessary, and tell you the outcome without undue delay.
You remain entitled to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
9. Managing Cookies and Withdrawing Consent
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:
- Cookie settings — if you were shown a cookie banner when you arrived, you can reopen it at any time and change your choice. Declining after having accepted takes effect immediately.
- Browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking the
intlpak_langcookie means the site will not remember your language choice. - Google Analytics opt-out — Google provides a browser add-on that prevents Analytics from collecting data on any website. This is an additional option, not a replacement for the control above.
10. Data Security
This site is served entirely over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Inquiry records are accessible only to authorised personnel and service providers who need access for the purposes described in this policy, subject to access controls and confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.
11. Children's Privacy
This is a business-to-business website for industrial packaging materials. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change is material — a new purpose, a new third party that tracks you, or a widening of processing that was previously based on your consent — we will not rely on this page alone, and will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
