High-Barrier PP Coextrusion Film with an Eco-Friendly Structure
F1307 (PVP #70) is the heaviest grade in Intlpak's PVP family — an all-polypropylene structure around an EVOH barrier core, so it keeps the PP layers' elongation and toughness advantage over PE-based EVOH films while using less material overall than a foil laminate.

Questions About F1307
F1307 is the heaviest PP/EVOH/PP grade at 70 μm — what is the main reason to buy it?
Moisture. Its WVTR of 3.7 g/m²·24h leads the family, roughly half F1302 's 6.5 and ahead of F1355 's 5.1. Where water vapour rather than oxygen is the limiting factor — dry foods, powders, baked goods — F1307 is this family's correct answer.
Does F1307 block oxygen better than the thinner grades?
It does not. All three sit at OTR 2.6 cc/m²·24h on an identical EVOH layup. This is the point most worth clarifying in the family: added gauge does not improve oxygen barrier. A lower transmission rate requires a different family — F1256 at 0.65 or F1154 at 0.31.
At 70 μm, does F1307 run stiff on the line?
No — it is simultaneously among the most extensible grades here. F1307 combines 700%/700% elongation with the family's lowest yield point at 180 kg/cm², so it is thick without being rigid, entering ductile stretch rather than resisting. That behaviour comes from the PP layer and suits packs that must wrap irregular shapes.
What formats suit F1307?
High-barrier flexible packaging that still needs a pliable web — food, medical care, cosmetics and hygienic cleaning products, plus MAP gas-flushed fresh protein. The gauge margin also gives more confidence in structures that must resist puncture or carry higher mechanical stress.
Haze doesn't fall in a straight line with gauge in this PP/EVOH/PP family — why is F1355 the haziest, not F1302 or F1307?
It doesn't scale simply with thickness: F1302 (40μm) measures 5% haze, F1355 (55μm) measures 7%, and F1307 (70μm) measures 6% — so the thinnest and thickest grades are both clearer than the middle grade, most likely reflecting how each gauge's PP layers crystallize during extrusion rather than a simple thickness effect. The spread across all three is only 2 points, so the practical difference is slight; F1307 remains the pick when you also want family-best moisture barrier, toughness, and an all-PP, mono-material-leaning structure at the heaviest gauge.
