A Purpose-Built Easy-Open Lid for Contact Lens Containers

F4569 is the 50μm grade in the family, laminated into structures such as PET 12μm // AL 9μm // ONY 15μm // EO-RCPP 50μm. The heavier web adds puncture and handling resistance over the 35μm F4568 while holding the same controlled peel profile — a small, predictable shift in peel force before and after sterilization, and a heat-sealing window of over 30°C on the line — so the pack still opens at fingertip force without splashing the saline solution inside.

Where F4569 Is Used

  • 1 High-temperature sterilization lid material for contact lens containers
  • 2 Heat-seal layer for lid material after lamination
  • 3 Suitable for PP (polypropylene) contact lens packaging containers
  • 4 Heat resistant up to 130°C

Why Converters Choose F4569

Rated to 130°C — holds seal integrity through pressurized sterilization of contact lens containers, tested to 130°C.
Heavier gauge for extra durability — the 50μm grade adds puncture and handling resistance versus the 35μm grade.
30°C+ heat-sealing window — a wide sealing-temperature range keeps peel force consistent across production-line variation.
Stable before/after peel force — the peel-force curve barely shifts after sterilization, so opening feel stays consistent pack to pack.
Proven laminate structure — PET 12μm // AL 9μm // ONY 15μm // EO-RCPP 50μm gives full aluminum-foil barrier plus easy-peel convenience.
Product-contact safe — clean-room manufactured for direct contact with sterile contact lens solution and lens containers.
Wide heat-seal window, over 30°C — maintains stable seal quality even with sealing-temperature variation, giving production lines more tolerance and fewer rejects.

Common Questions

Questions About F4569

F4569 adds 15 μm over F4568 — is it worth it?

It depends on blister size and line type. At 50 μm, F4569 measures 7200/6900 kg/cm² tensile modulus against F4568 's 6900/6600 — a stiffer web that holds dimension better at speed. Larger blisters, or pick-and-place automation sensitive to web sag, justify the extra gauge; ordinary small blisters stay more economical on F4568 .

Does F4569 still clear 130°C sterilization?

Yes — the rating is 130°C, identical to F4568 . Both draw heat resistance from the same EO-RCPP formulation, and gauge does not shift the temperature ceiling. The extra 50 μm buys mechanical strength and changes heat-transfer time at sealing, not the sterilization condition itself.

Switching to F4569 — do I need to retune sealing?

Seal temperature range is unchanged and the window still exceeds 30°C, but expect to trim dwell time. With 15 μm more film, heat needs marginally longer to reach the seal interface; running F4568 's settings unchanged can leave seal strength low, so set from measured seal strength rather than by carrying parameters across.

What is F4569's recommended structure and container fit?

The same foil composite layup as F4568 , with the inner layer stepped up to 50 μm. That inner layer is the only interface touching the product and it governs how the lid peels after sterilization; on the container side it seals PP contact lens packaging in aseptic filling processes requiring high-temperature sterilization.

F4569 elongates 790% in both MD and TD — what does that symmetry give me?

Balanced directional behaviour. F4568 runs 670%/710%, a 40-point gap between directions; F4569 is even. On multi-cavity blisters, a web that responds equally in both directions gives a more predictable peel path, reducing the chance that one side breaks early while the other strings.
