High Barrier PP/EVOH/PP Film F1307 (70μm)
PVP 70 coextrusion film with high oxygen barrier, fragrance retention, transparency, and eco-friendly construction. Corona-treated on one side for lamination with PET, OPP, or NY into food, medical, and cosmetics packaging structures.
High-Barrier PP Coextrusion Film with an Eco-Friendly Structure
F1307 (PVP #70) is the heaviest grade in Intlpak's PVP family — an all-polypropylene structure around an EVOH barrier core, so it keeps the PP layers' elongation and toughness advantage over PE-based EVOH films while using less material overall than a foil laminate.
Where F1307 Is Used
- 1
Single-Material All-PP Packaging
Food, medical care, cosmetics, and hygienic cleaning product packaging. F1307 is built as a PP/EVOH/PP structure, so the bulk of the film stays within one polymer family — Intlpak lists it as the eco-friendly grade in the range.
- 2
Oxygen and Aroma Retention
Applications requiring high oxygen-barrier properties. At 70μm F1307 reads 2.6 cc/m²·24h with 6% haze — better clarity than the thinner 55μm grade, because haze follows layer structure rather than total gauge.
- 3
Print and Laminate into Finished Packs
Can be printed or laminated with other film materials. Corona treated on one side; at 700% elongation and a 4200/4000 kg/cm² modulus it stays workable on converting lines despite being the heaviest PP grade.
- 4
Fresh Meat and Seafood MAP
Modified Atmosphere Packaging of fresh beef, chicken, pork, and seafood products. The heaviest gauge in the PP family gives the most material margin for handling and puncture without moving to a different structure.
Full Specifications — High Barrier PP Film Series
F1307 is the 70μm grade in Intlpak's PVP/PVE high barrier PP film family — a 70 micron oxygen barrier film in an eco-friendly all-PP construction with a measured oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of 2.6 cc/m²·24h, 6% haze, and 700% elongation. The table below shows F1307 alongside its 40μm and 55μm siblings for reference.

Questions About F1307
F1307 is the heaviest PP/EVOH/PP grade at 70 μm — what is the main reason to buy it?
Moisture. Its WVTR of 3.7 g/m²·24h leads the family, roughly half F1302 's 6.5 and ahead of F1355 's 5.1. Where water vapour rather than oxygen is the limiting factor — dry foods, powders, baked goods — F1307 is this family's correct answer.
Does F1307 block oxygen better than the thinner grades?
It does not. All three sit at OTR 2.6 cc/m²·24h on an identical EVOH layup. This is the point most worth clarifying in the family: added gauge does not improve oxygen barrier. A lower transmission rate requires a different family — F1256 at 0.65 or F1154 at 0.31.
At 70 μm, does F1307 run stiff on the line?
No — it is simultaneously among the most extensible grades here. F1307 combines 700%/700% elongation with the family's lowest yield point at 180 kg/cm², so it is thick without being rigid, entering ductile stretch rather than resisting. That behaviour comes from the PP layer and suits packs that must wrap irregular shapes.
What formats suit F1307?
High-barrier flexible packaging that still needs a pliable web — food, medical care, cosmetics and hygienic cleaning products, plus MAP gas-flushed fresh protein. The gauge margin also gives more confidence in structures that must resist puncture or carry higher mechanical stress.
Haze doesn't fall in a straight line with gauge in this PP/EVOH/PP family — why is F1355 the haziest, not F1302 or F1307?
It doesn't scale simply with thickness: F1302 (40μm) measures 5% haze, F1355 (55μm) measures 7%, and F1307 (70μm) measures 6% — so the thinnest and thickest grades are both clearer than the middle grade, most likely reflecting how each gauge's PP layers crystallize during extrusion rather than a simple thickness effect. The spread across all three is only 2 points, so the practical difference is slight; F1307 remains the pick when you also want family-best moisture barrier, toughness, and an all-PP, mono-material-leaning structure at the heaviest gauge.
We are trying to cut the number of different plastics in our packaging — is a single-material structure possible with a barrier layer?
Largely, yes. F1307 is built as a PP/EVOH/PP structure, so the bulk of the film is one polymer family rather than a mix of PP and PE. At 70 μm it reads an OTR of 2.6 cc/m²·24h with 6% haze and 700% elongation. Intlpak lists it as the eco-friendly grade in the range; confirm your own end-of-life requirements against local rules, as no recycling certification is claimed here.
Does a thicker barrier film always look cloudier?
No — haze follows the layer structure, not the total gauge. Across Intlpak's PP/EVOH/PP range the heaviest grade is not the haziest: F1307 reads 6% at 70 μm, better than F1355 at 7% and 55 μm, with F1302 clearest at 5% and 40 μm. Read the published haze figure for the grade rather than inferring appearance from thickness.
